Current APC Policy

Journal of Arabic EdTech (JAET) currently operates under a No Article Processing Charges (No-APC) policy. Authors are not required to pay any submission fees, review fees, or publication fees. All accepted articles are published under the journal’s Open Access model without financial cost to authors.

Commitment to Fair and Equitable Publishing

JAET is committed to ensuring that financial considerations do not influence editorial decisions or limit access to publication opportunities. Manuscripts are evaluated solely based on scholarly merit, methodological rigor, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Future APC Implementation

If Article Processing Charges (APC) are introduced in the future to support journal sustainability, the details of the fee structure will be transparently published on the journal website. Any future APC policy will clearly specify: The amount of the publication fee The scope of services covered (editorial management, DOI registration, digital preservation, etc.) Payment procedures and timelines Until officially announced, JAET maintains a full No-APC policy.

Waiver and Discount Policy

In the event that APC are implemented, JAET will provide full or partial waivers to ensure equitable access. Authors may be eligible for a waiver under the following conditions: Affiliation with institutions in low-income or lower-middle-income countries Lack of institutional or research funding Independent researchers without financial support Demonstrated financial hardship Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and will be evaluated confidentially.

Editorial Independence

Waiver status has no influence on editorial decisions. The peer review process remains fully independent and double-blind. Editors and reviewers are not informed of authors’ payment or waiver status during manuscript evaluation.

Transparency and Sustainability

JAET strives to balance financial sustainability with global accessibility. The journal is committed to maintaining transparency in its funding model while upholding inclusive academic participation. All policy updates related to APC or waivers will be publicly announced on the journal website.
